Care for the Carers of the Terminally Ill - Policy Work

The Care for the Carers of the Terminally Ill project includes strategic policy work in the following areas:

• Research into employment issues and carers of the terminally ill
• Work with employers to develop support for carers of the terminally ill in the workplace.
• The development of policy and practice in supporting carers of the terminally ill
• Representing the views of carers of the terminally ill in response to health & social care consultations.

Help the Hospices is also working in partnership with other organisations:

• We are an ACE National (Action for Carers & Employment) policy partner.
• We are a member of the Equal Opportunities Commission's Parents and Carers Coalition.
