When caring comes to an end

Carers UK has developed a new booklet, in partnership with Help the Hospices and Action for Carers and Employment (ACE) National, for people with a caring role that has, or is about to, come to an end.

The booklet is divided into three main sections:

  • When the cared for person moves into residential or nursing care
  • When the cared for person dies
  • Life after caring, which includes information about work, training and volunteering

Each section contains relevant information about financial benefits and practical support available, as well as finding further help and support.
